How to Access Webmin/Virtualmin

Webmin and Virtualmin are open-source tools for managing Linux servers and hosting websites. This article explains how to access them.

Default Access URLs

  • Webmin: https://your-server-ip:10000
  • Virtualmin: https://your-server-ip:10000/virtualmin

Logging In

  1. Open your browser and navigate to the appropriate URL.
  2. Accept the self-signed SSL certificate if prompted.
  3. Enter your root username and password.
  4. Click Sign In.

Forgot Your Password?

You can reset the Webmin root password from the command line:

/usr/share/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin root newpassword
