How to Install Plesk

Plesk is a popular control panel that supports both Linux and Windows servers. This article explains how to install Plesk Obsidian.

Requirements

  • A supported operating system (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, or Windows Server)
  • Minimum 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended)
  • A valid Plesk license

Installation Steps on Linux

  1. Log into your server as root via SSH.
  2. Download the Plesk installer: 
    curl -L https://autoinstall.plesk.com/plesk-installer -o plesk-installer
  3. Make it executable and run it: 
    chmod +x plesk-installer
./plesk-installer
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
  5. Access Plesk at: 
    https://your-server-ip:8443
