Requesting rDNS Changes
- Log into the Client Area.
- Open a support ticket requesting an rDNS update.
- Provide the IP address and the hostname you want it to resolve to.
- Wait for the change to be applied.
Best Practices
- Use a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) such as
mail.example.com. - Ensure the hostname has a matching forward DNS (A) record.
- Avoid generic or suspicious-looking hostnames for mail servers.
