Reinstalling your operating system can help resolve software issues or allow you to start fresh. Circle City Servers provides an easy way to reinstall OS images through your control panel.
Before You Reinstall
- Back up your data. Reinstalling will erase all data on the server.
- Make a note of any custom configurations you need to restore later.
- Ensure you have access to your control panel credentials.
Reinstalling via SolusVM/Virtualizor
- Log into your server control panel.
- Select the VPS you want to reinstall.
- Click Reinstall or Rebuild.
- Choose your desired operating system and version.
- Confirm that you understand all data will be erased.
- Click Reinstall and wait for the process to complete.
After Reinstallation
- New login credentials will be emailed to you.
- Update your server hostname, timezone, and network settings if needed.
- Reinstall any required software and restore your backups.
