What Is DDoS Protection?
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection detects and mitigates large volumes of malicious traffic before it reaches your server.
Included Protection
- Automatic detection of common attack patterns
- Traffic scrubbing and filtering
- Protection for IPv4 addresses
- Notification of mitigation events
What Is Not Covered
- Application-layer attacks may require additional firewall rules.
- Outgoing abuse from your server is your responsibility.
- Some extremely large or complex attacks may require custom mitigation.
During an Attack
If your service is under attack, our network will automatically begin mitigation. You may notice brief latency while traffic is filtered.
