IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) and KVM over IP allow you to remotely access your dedicated server even when the operating system is not responding.
Accessing IPMI/KVM
- Log into your server control panel.
- Locate the IPMI/KVM section for your dedicated server.
- Click the IPMI URL or Java KVM launcher.
- Enter the IPMI username and password provided in your Welcome Email.
Requirements
- Some IPMI interfaces require Java. Ensure you have a compatible Java version installed.
- HTML5 KVM consoles may work in modern browsers without plugins.
- IPMI access may be restricted by firewall rules.
